The undiscovered terrain of the Northern coasts of Sri Lanka is full of history, ancient architecture, and culture of the Sinhalese people – The aboriginals of Sri Lanka. This part of the country has been less explored as it was impacted by the civil war for the large number of years after they got independence in 1948. The dynamic demography of the Northern coast consists with National parks, ancient temples, quaint beaches, forts, and history of industries before independence. Mannar Islands was famous for pearling industry and was very influenced by Arab merchants. Jaffna is the capital city of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka and has served as the capital of the 4th century medieval Jaffna Kingdom. In addition to the north coast, you will be relaxing in the beach town of Trincomalee and also exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Sigiriya and Kandy.
Arrive at Colombo Airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy city tour of Colombo including Gangaramaya Temple, Galle face green, Dutch hospital, fort railway station, Viharamahadevi Park and Lotus Tower. Later, drive to Kandy. Evening, enjoy a cultural dance show. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy boat ride on Kandy lake and visit Kandy Temple. Later, drive to Sigiriya. Enroute, visit Matale Spice Garden. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afternoon, visit Minneriya National Park. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Wilpattu. Overnight stay at hotel.
