The Annapurna Base Camp trek, popularly known as the ABC Trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The trail of the Annapurna Base Camp trek is breathtakingly beautiful. The Annapurna Base Camp is perched at a height of 4170 m in the northern region of Nepal and is a moderate level trek. As you hike through the Annapurna Sanctuary, you come across the most striking flora and fauna. The grand view of the Annapurna Massif from the base camp almost takes your breath away. Sitting at 4170m, you have an uninterrupted view of the surrounding peaks of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machapuchhre and Hiunchuli. The trek also gives you a chance to catch a glimpse of Nepali culture as you will visit remote villages such as Chomrong, Tadapani and Sinuwa.
Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Transfer to Kathmandu airport to board the flight to Pokhara. Later visit World Peace Pagoda and enjoy the boat ride in Phewa Lake. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning by surface travel to Nayapul (altitude 1050 m) and trek out to Tikhedhunga. Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Ghorepani and enjoy the excellent view of the mountains of Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail), Hiunchuli and Annapurna South on the way. Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Early Morning trek to Poon Hill for sunrise view of the Annapurna I (8091 m), Machhapuchere (6997 m), Annapurna South (7219 m) and Dhaulagiri (8167 m). Return to Ghorepani for breakfast at the lodge. Later trek to Tadapani. Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Trek to Tadapani through Kimrung Khola, ascend to Chomrong (altitude 2170 m), the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Trek descending a stone stairway for hour and a half before crossing Chhomrong Khola on a suspension bridge. Later, cross the meadows of Tomo and Panchen Barah in ascent towards the Himalaya. Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Continue trekking along the west bank of the Modi River towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp (altitude 3820 m). Later reach the Annapurna Base Camp (altitude 4170 m). Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
After breakfast, explore the Annapurna Base Camp and stunning mountain views. Start the descend further to Bamboo Lodge (altitude 2310m) through Dovan. Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Start early on a long descending trek, trail back to Chomrong Village and Kimrong Khola. Later, go up the other side of the hill and up to Ghandruk (altitude 2020 m). Overnight stay at a Tea lodge.
Today is the final day of trekking! We start with a gradual descent to Nayapul. Upon arrival in Nayapul, we travel by surface to Pokhara. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning transfer to Pokhara Airport to board flight for Kathmandu. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Darbar Square. Overnight stay at hotel.
Transfer to the Kathmandu international airport to take flight for onward destination.
