Famously described by Marco Polo as the finest island of its size in the world, Sri Lanka is painted in a thousand shades of green, as an embroidery of rippling, rolling tea estates that stretch as far as the eyes can see. Sri Lanka is world’s fourth largest tea producer. Tea tourism here has been long-established and is increasingly popular since the British era. A stay at one of the colonial bungalows amidst sprawling tea gardens is nothing but tea time pampering.
